Liz & Mathew’s Beautiful Chevy Chase Country Club Wedding

Liz and Mathew’s love story is the stuff rom-com dreams are made of, they lived two doors down from one another and met in the hallway of their building. When the time came for Conrad to meet up with Liz and Mathew to take their engagement photos it only made sense to start in that same hallway. It was so much fun for him to get to know this sweet couple at the home they share!

Conrad was then so excited to join Liz and Mathew at Chevy Chase Country Club for their wedding this May! It was an absolutely perfect Spring day for Liz and Mathew’s traditional Catholic ceremony at St. James, we always love photographing ceremonies at this gorgeous church just down the street from us! Mathew was so sweet watching his bride walk down the aisle, and after they were pronounced husband and wife they were inseparable for the rest of the day. It was so cute to see them just talking and hugging and laughing together in the lobby after their ceremony before they exited the church!

When we arrived at Chevy Chase the light was absolutely gorgeous for pictures of the newlyweds, it was magical photographing Liz and Mathew together! Their love really shone through in each moment of their wedding day and it was just such a joy for us to be a part of this celebration!

Congratulations, Liz and Mathew, we love you and wish you a lifetime of happiness together!

Ashley & Mile’s Beautiful Chevy Chase Wedding

Ashley and Mile met at the gym in 2015 where they both shared a love for working out. They connected right away and their love grew, they then got engaged in 2022 while vacationing in Colorado. . .

Ashley and Mile met at the gym in 2015 where they both shared a love for working out. They connected right away and their love grew, they then got engaged in 2022 while hiking in Colorado. Ashley and Mile have been together for over 8 years and tied the knot officially last year on August 26th, 2023!

Conrad first got to know Ashley and Mile (and their adorable dogs Buzz and Apollo!) at their engagement session in October 2022. He loved spending time with this caring, fun and laid-back couple; it was such an honor for us to celebrate with their family and friends this year at their wedding at Chevy Chase!

Ashley and Mile’s wedding day fell right at the tail end of this Summer’s epic cicada explosion, but true to their laid-back nature the newlyweds just rolled with it and didn’t let the bugs bother them. They said that the cicadas were “paid actors” during their ceremony and didn’t mind them landing on their wedding clothes (and even Mile’s nose!!) throughout the day! Ashley’s sister Gina went through the process of becoming ordained so she could marry Ashley and Mile last year during their backyard wedding. This time around Ashley’s Aunt officiated during their beautiful ceremony on the green at Chevy Chase. Ashley wrote long and thoughtful vows while Mile “winged it” for his, but both were from the heart and sweet declarations of their unending love for one another.

After their touching ceremony we settled in for an epic celebration – Ashley and Mile danced to Taylor Swift and were treated to a GORGEOUS sunset during dinner (we sure do LOVE having the chance to take sunset photos at Chevy Chase!) We had the best time at this unforgettable wedding, what an honor for us to be a part of this perfect day!
