Rebecca & Matt’s Perfect Hyatt Lodge Wedding

We have had a really beautiful and wonderful year for weddings, all of our Something Blue couples have been amazing throughout 2022. But looking back, one wedding really stands out as being just perfect. When we arrived at Rebecca’s suite at The Hyatt Lodge in Oakbrook she was SO welcoming and joyful, her radiant positive energy made it so so easy for us to do our jobs. Rebecca was literally jumping for joy on her hotel bed while waiting to put on her absolutely STUNNING wedding dress, that’s the kind of bridal energy we can get on board with! Side note – we are pretty sure we heard a “crack” while doing bed-jumping photos with the girls AND the guys at this wedding, sending apologies along to the Hyatt Lodge!! We were smiling ear to ear before the day really even began, and it didn’t stop until we said goodnight to these amazing newlyweds.

Conrad was lucky enough to photograph Rebecca and Matt’s engagement session downtown last Fall. While Rebecca and Matt’s love was on full display during their engagement session, their adorable corgi Elsa sort of stole the show and was the real star that day.
